It is coming! My book, The Art of Tapestry Weaving, from Storey Publishing, is in the United States now and will be shipping out to everyone by the (new) publication date of November 3.
I made this 3 minute video about the book to be used for bookstore launch events, but I thought you all might like to see it also.
I learned yesterday that though I’ve had October 27 in my head for over a year as the launch date, I’ll have to adjust my thinking. The book missed its scheduled arrival in the warehouse by one day so the publication date has been pushed back to November 3, 2020.
I’m grateful to everyone who pre-ordered it. These orders make a big difference in the life of the book so if you’re thinking of getting it, any time before November 3 will qualify as a pre-order. The book will be on shelves for a very long time, so put it on your Christmas list if you’re not quite ready to jump in yet.
I’ll be doing a talk for Damascus Fiber Arts School on October 20th at 10 am PST about the book and the journey of making it. I’ll also be doing a live event on November 3rd to answer questions and talk about the process some more.
