On Fyber Monday, November 28th, 2022, all of my online courses are on sale. This happens just once a year.
The Monday after Thanksgiving weekend in the USA has been deemed “Cyber Monday.” It is a day for businesses to sell digital products. Though I care not for holiday hype, I do want to offer at least one opportunity during the holidays for people to purchase my online courses at a discount.
I have dubbed this day “Fyber Monday.” All of my online courses are on sale. And yes, you can purchase more than one! Treat yourself, or give a gift. Gift certificates for all of my courses can be found in my shop HERE with discount included.
I have courses for beginner and intermediate weavers in technique, a course about four-selvedge warping that features the marvelous Sarah C. Swett, a course teaching you to dye your own yarn, and a couple design courses.
The Sale!

A QUICK OVERVIEW OF MY ONLINE COURSES
Weaving Tapestry on Little Looms: A fun introduction to tapestry weaving on small looms.
Introduction to Tapestry Weaving: My least expensive class is designed to help you learn the basics and lead you into the more comprehensive techniques class, Warp and Weft.
Warp and Weft: Learning the Structure of Tapestry: My signature class. It is a comprehensive tapestry techniques class for which my book, The Art of Tapestry Weaving, is an excellent companion volume.
Design Solutions for the Artist/Weaver, Season 1 and Season 2: If you’re looking for help with designing for tapestry weaving, these two courses are a great way to dive into that. I will be teaching Season 1 of this course with a live component starting in January of 2023 and if you register for that class now, you can join the fun.
Dyeing with Acid Wool Dyes: This course teaches you to dye yarn yourself using predictable results you can replicate. Dyeing with acid wool dyes is a fun way to create the colors you want.
Fringeless: Four Selvedge Warping with Sarah C. Swett (produced by Rebecca Mezoff): This class is taught by the marvelous and endlessly creative Sarah Swett with a little help from me. We teach you how to warp a tensioned frame loom for a four-selvedge tapestry which comes off the loom with all four sides finished AND allows you to weave with a shed for the entire piece.
Color Gradation Techniques for Tapestry: This class is a great follow-up to Warp and Weft. It has more extensive tapestry technique practice including how to move color using tapestry techniques.
Gifts
Online classes make fantastic gifts. If you want to gift a course and keep it a secret until the winter holidays next month, you can do that by purchasing a gift certificate. You’ll receive an email with a PDF attached which you can email or print and give to your lucky weaver. You can find those gift certificates in the shop on my website HERE. If your Santa needs a little help navigating things (sometimes non-weavers have a bit of trouble with the weaving language!), have Santa contact me HERE.
The joy of tapestry weaving
Tapestry weaving is one of those creative pursuits that can be a simple practice on small looms or an involved work at large scales. I love creating large-format works on my large looms but I also find my tiny responsive works on portable looms an engaging practice.
Whether your interest in tapestry is as a fiber hobby you do while traveling or you want to learn how to create larger works with traditional tapestry techniques, I probably have an online class for you. I value interaction in the courses, I am responsive in my help with your questions, and I encourage you to post what you’re working on so that you’re motivated to continue but also so that I can see how you’re getting along and help you with anything that is causing you difficulties.
I hope you’ll join me for an online tapestry course.
Quick FAQs
I have extensive FAQs on my website HERE but here are the most common things asked about my online classes:
How long do I have access to the class? You have access as long as you want it. I don’t close off my classes at any time. You can use them for reference whenever you want and ask questions years from now if you want to.
How do I use a discount code? Upon registration you’ll see some text about using a discount code. Click that and put in one of the codes above. You’ll see a green line with the total. Make sure that shows up before adding your credit card. More info is HERE.
Is the class timed? A few of my classes have live components. I’ll have live Q&A sessions in Design Solutions for the Artist/Weaver, Season 1 starting in January for example. But those are always recorded and you can access all of the content of my courses at any time. If a class is going to be time-limited, I’ll be very clear about that and nothing included in this sale is that way at the moment! You can take as long as you want to finish any of my classes.
Will the discount code work for more than one class? YES! The code JollyWeave22 will work on any of my classes. Just make sure if you want the extra discount for Fringeless that you use the code that is just for that class.
How long does the sale last?
Decide and register by Wednesday, November 30th or the codes will expire! The sale is officially on Monday, November 28th, but I make the codes active on Sunday and run them a few extra days mostly for the benefit of people in other time zones.
